Baker Roddey
Baker Roddey is a South Carolina native and Clemson graduate with degrees in Finance and Accounting, paired with a Master's degree in Architecture — a rare skillset that uniquely equips him to evaluate real estate from both a financial and built-environment perspective. As an Associate with ALIGN'D Properties and an active investor with over $1M in personal property holdings, Baker understands acquisitions, valuation, repositioning, and return on investment at a practical, lived level.
He works across both commercial and residential asset classes with investors, developers, builders, and financing groups, conducting feasibility studies and highest-and-best-use analysis to identify risk, unlock value, and guide deal flow with confidence. His background in architectural design strengthens his ability to assess cost path, zoning implications, renovation potential, and long-term development upside. Baker has hands-on familiarity with valuation, code planning, and the Board of Architectural Review (BAR) process, giving clients clarity in markets where regulation often defines outcome.
Well-connected throughout Charleston's real estate community — from contractors to capital — Baker brings strategic analysis, grounded advisory, and long-view decision-making to every client relationship.
Outside of real estate, Baker enjoys surfing, sailing, soccer, and playing music — passions rooted in a love for the coast and the people who make Charleston home.
